The University of Lagos's part-time (weekend) programme known as DLI stands for Distance Learning Institute (UNILAG). The course is flexible and offers high-quality distance learning, so students may study when it is best for them—at home, at work, or while travelling. As a result, students that are unable to physically attend a typical setting like a classroom still can study. DLI Courses in UNILAG and a course outline are provided below.

The requirement to Study DLI Courses in UNILAG

You must fulfil certain requirements in order to be accepted as a DLI student at UNILAG. A basic outline of the stages you should think about is provided below.

  • A minimum of five (5) credits from WASSCE, NECO, and GCE are required of applicants. Mathematics and English are required and should be taken in no more than two sittings.
  • For year two admission, you either had NCE, ND, JUPEP, or GCE A' Levels in the relevant disciplines.
  • Either a Higher National Diploma or a Bachelor's degree is required for entry into year three.


Procedure to Apply for DLI in UNILAG

You must complete a number of tasks in order to successfully register for DLI in UNILAG. There are two steps in the UNILAG DLI application process.

Applying through JAMB

Step 1: Register on the JAMB CAP website.

Step 2: Pay the required three thousand five hundred Naira (N3,500) to get your registration number.

Application through UNILAG

Step 1: The UNILAG application portal. 

Step 2  Choose "start fresh application" 

Step 3: Choose DLI as your "application type" and then fill out the form with your name, JAMB registration number, mobile number, and email address.

Step 4: To pay the application cost online, click "pay now." To make a payment in any bank, you can also print the payment advice with the Remita number.

Step 5: Go back to the application portal to continue after making the payment. Click on proceed after entering your password, which should be your surname all lowercase and your payment reference number.

Step 6: Fill out all the fields that are required and upload your files.

Step 7: Finish the remaining fields, submit the form online, and print a copy.
